About NOCSSM
The National
Organization of Church
Security & Safety Management
(NOCSSM) was formed in 2002
as an informal discussion
group for the Security
Directors of some of the
nation's largest churches.
Chuck Chadwick realized that
most churches had no
training in security and
safety issues and formed a
vision of an organization
who's primary purpose is to
help churches with these
issues.
NOCSSM is a
church specific security
education and training
organization whose members
share the common goal of
keeping staff,
congregations, property and
other assets secure and
safe. Member churches and
organizations have access to
resources of policies and
procedures.
Our founding scripture - Chronicles 9:21
And later
Zechariah son of Meshelemiah
had been responsible for
guarding the entrance of the
tabernacle. In
all, there were 212
gatekeepers in those days,
and they were listed by
genealogies in their
villages. David and Samuel
the seer had appointed their
ancestors because they were
reliable men. These
gatekeepers and their
descendants, by their
divisions, were responsible
for guarding the entrance to
the house of the LORD, the
house that was formerly a
tent. The
gatekeepers were stationed
on all four sides—east,
west, north, and south. |
